Chris Thompson is the Manager of the South Central Region, an Authorized Salesforce.com Consultant and Instructor and the Principal Google Consultant for Astadia in Dallas, TX. Astadia is a consulting company focused on the ever-changing arena of SaaS (software as a service) solutions and Chris is neck-deep in all of the SaaS technology he can get his hands on. Salesforce.com and Google Apps are particular favorites of his. Chris has spoken at a series of Salesforce.com user events around the country about new releases, advanced features and how to apply those to make Salesforce.com work best for their business needs.
Not simply defined by his career, Chris lives with his wife (whom he loves ever so much) in Big D. He is an avid movie buff, a frequent player of video games (XBOX 360, of course), a lover of fine food and beverage and a proud Jeep owner. While his schedule has not been as forgiving as he’d like, he also enjoys the great outdoors and tries to camp, climb, bike, ski and hunt as often as possible. And finally – while his wife would certainly prefer otherwise – Chris has been known to skydive from time to time.
